Qatar Executive To Begin Selling Private Jet Time To Customers

Qatar Executive has today announced the launch of its Diamond Agreement. This new and exclusive service allows passengers to pre-purchase flight time at fixed-hourly rates on long-range and ultra-long-range private jets.

Smoothing out the process

The Doha-based outfit prides itself on delivering premium services. According to a press release seen by Simple Flying, this new program is precisely tailored to individual customer needs and is designed to simplify private jet travel.

To join, passengers need to purchase a minimum of 50 hours of flight time. These all-inclusive and fixed-hourly rates cover both flight hours and taxi time.

The company highlights the following features of the Diamond Agreement:

  • No minimum term and no maximum carryover of purchased hours;
  • Guaranteed availability from 72 hours notice;
  • No peak or black-out dates;
  • Advance booking and return travel offer further benefits;
  • Includes onboard internet usage, any de-icing charges, and inflight catering;
  • Pets and smoking allowed;
  • Available on all Qatar Executive aircraft types.

These customers will have the opportunity to hit the skies with the company’s business aircraft. The operator has a fleet of Gulfstream G650ERs, Gulfstream G500s, and Global 5000 aircraft. Furthermore, it is the launch customer for Gulfstream’s flagship jet, the Gulfstream G700.

A bespoke offering

According to the press release, Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker shared the following about the Diamond Agreement:

“As part of Qatar Airways Group, Qatar Executive offers an exceptional travel experience for private jet customers. With the Diamond Agreement, we can now offer even more flexible and bespoke travel options for Qatar Executive passengers, who can continue to expect our high levels of service and safety onboard our state-of-the-art aircraft.”

Qatar Executive’s acting vice president, Mark Hardman, also spoke about this initiative. He said that his team is delighted to launch this agreement, which is tailored to suit the exact travel profile of both corporate and private clients.

He added that the firm understands that as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, clients are looking for versatile, high-quality services from a reputable and financially secure operator. Ultimately, he wants to highlight that passengers can rely on the company for flexible and bespoke services during these unprecedented times. This is displayed with the feature that unused hours are refundable at any time.
