Aerolíneas Argentinas Schedules 83 International Flights for November
After the international reopening of Argentina, the national airline Aerolíneas Argentinas announced its November schedule, which includes more than 650 domestic and international operations. These scheduled flights mean an increase of 712% in its operations related to October.
According to hosteltur, the Argentine airline restarted its domestic operations on October 22, with a network of flights that represented 8.9% of what its offer used to be before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through a statement, the state company assured that it will have a total of 571 domestic flights to 22 provinces and 30 destinations, many of which it had not operated since the beginning of the restrictions. Among the destinations with the highest number of monthly frequencies to and from Ezeiza are Córdoba (68), Mendoza (54), Neuquén (36), Bariloche (36), Salta (31), Mar del Plata (25), Comodoro Rivadavia (25), Bahía Blanca (23), Trelew (17), Santiago del Estero (17) and San Juan (14).
The carrier will progressively resume its operation of other itineraries. It will start to operate routes between Córdoba and Neuquén, Córdoba and Mendoza, Comodoro Rivadavia and Neuquén, Mendoza and Neuquén. All of them closely linked to corporate traffic related to the energetic industry.
In the international operations, Aerolíneas Argentinas will provide in November 83 flights to South America, the United States and Spain. In detail, the Argentine carrier will fly 6 frequencies to Rio de Janeiro, 24 to Sao Paulo, 17 to Santiago de Chile, 8 to Asunción, 5 to Montevideo and 4 to Santa Cruz de la Sierra. In addition, in long-distance routes, it will connect Buenos Aires with Madrid with 6 frequencies during November and Miami with 13.
After the international reopening of Argentina, the government announced that only foreigners from neighboring countries could enter the country. However, 23 foreigner carriers as Boliviana de Aviación, Qatar Airways, KLM, LATAM Chile, Lufthansa, American Airlines, United Airlines, Air France, British Airways, LATAM Perú, Aeroméxico, SKY Airline Perú, Ethiopian Airlines, LATAM Brasil, Turkish Airlines, JetSmart Chile and others, will be able to allow to schedule regular flights with connections to Argentina.
