The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer is bringing a diverse array of aircraft to the airshow.

The Australian International Airshow takes place every other year at Avalon Airport in Victoria, Australia. The airshow has an industrial component that is only open to certain groups as well as a general component that is open to the public. This year, the convention will take place from February 28th to March 5th.
The last occurrence of the airshow took place in 2019 (the one in 2021 was canceled due to the pandemic) and featured 170,000 attendees, 700 companies, and 400 aircraft. Given that it has been four years since the last exhibition, this year’s is likely to be just as busy, if not busier.
Embraer will be showing off three aircraft: the Phenom 100EV, the Phenom 300E, and the E195-E2 ‘TechLion.’ The 100EV and the 300E are business jets, while the E195-E2 is a commercial aircraft.
This year will mark the E195-E2’s first time at the convention. The 300E series, on the other hand, has been the best-selling light jet for 11 years now.
With regards to the three aircraft that Embraer will be bringing to the airshow, Embraer CEO Francisco Gomes Neto said,
“Australia is home to Embraer’s diverse range of business jets and commercial aircraft and thanks to our customers and partners, our aircraft are synonymous with performance, innovation and reliability… We are proud to have on display the TechLion E195-E2, the Phenom 100EV and the Praetor 300E at the Show.”

The E195-E2 seats up to 146 passengers and has a range of over 3,000 miles. As such, it has been termed the world’s most efficient single-aisle aircraft.
It is also worth noting that Embraer recently partnered with Pratt & Whitney to fly an E195-E2 using 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), which boosted its 25% reduction in emissions to 85%.
The Phenom 300E, on the other hand, is the fastest single-pilot jet in production with a top speed of Mach 0.80 and a range of over 2,000 miles. It also has the greatest residual value of any aircraft, making it a worthwhile business investment.
Generally speaking, Embraer aircraft are not uncommon in Australia; Alliance Airlines, Airnorth, National Jet Express, and Pionair are just a few examples of airlines operating 11 business jets and 40 commercial jets manufactured by the company throughout the country. It will certainly be interesting to see if that number goes up after the airshow.
