JetBlue’s Mint cabin has been a success for the airline, offering a business class experience at an affordable price. With its lie-flat seats, upmarket cuisine and premium service, JetBlue has steadily increased the availability of Mint seats over the past few years. Which JetBlue flights offer Mint business class?
Mint is available on select domestic and international flights
Mint is currently available on over 30 routes, primarily coast-to-coast flights along with a few seasonal Caribbean offerings. The airline has also revealed its Mint service will be coming to European flights, although details are currently scarce.
Mint flights operate out of five JetBlue hubs:
- New York JFK
- Fort Lauderdale
- Boston
- Los Angeles
- Newark
The first Mint flights were between New York and Los Angeles in 2014. The airline later expanded its premium service to daily flights between New York and San Francisco by 2015. Mint soon became a hit with passengers, prompting JetBlue to roll out the service on many more routes by 2016, including international flights to the Caribbean.
The premium cabin is available to and from many leading U.S cities, including Miami, Seattle, San Diego and Las Vegas. Mint has also been a part of JetBlue’s Caribbean flights to Aruba, Barbados, St Lucia, St Maarten and Grenada for a number of years, with flights operated on a seasonal basis.

Which aircraft offer Mint class?
The Mint cabin is available exclusively on select Airbus A321s with JetBlue. The A321 with Mint configuration consists of 159 seats, with 16 Mint seats. The cabin consists of three rows in a 2-2 configuration, and two 1-1 rows with Mint’s ‘Throne Suites’. These seats offer sliding doors for additional privacy.
With 6’8″ lie-flat seats, JetBlue claims its Mint cabin offers the longest lie-flat seats of any domestic premium flight. Other luxury touches include massage capability, adjustable firmness and 15″ touchscreens. JetBlue has given its A321s with Mint cabins some rather curious names – ‘Catch Mint If You Can’ and ‘Mint for Each Other’ are just two of its 34 A321 with Mint planes.
Mint is coming to JetBlue’s transatlantic flights
Mint has been available mostly on transcontinental flights across the U.S, with many hoping JetBlue will offer its premium service on more flights. In November, JetBlue announced its plans to add Mint suites to its European routes. The airline hasn’t expanded on any details, but rumors abound that Mint will be coming to the airline’s London flights.
JetBlue has rolled out over 60 new routes in 2020, with plans to add plenty more in 2021. The airline is looking to expand quickly in the first quarter of 2021, with 24 additional routes added.
