Strong presence

United has a history of performing well in Tel Aviv. It already flies there from several of its hubs, including Newark, San Francisco, and Washington Dulles. However, it recognizes the scope for further opportunities in Israel.

In August, the airline is increasing its previously daily Tel Aviv service from its Newark hub to 10 weekly flights. Also, On July 8th, it will resume its thrice-weekly, nonstop service between San Francisco and Tel Aviv.

Additionally, it will restart flights between Washington, D.C. and Tel Aviv in October. Altogether, the operator performs more nonstop services between the United States and Israel than any other US-based carrier.

In February, the airline announced that it is ramping up its kosher menu on flights to Tel Aviv from the US. The enhanced cuisine and route expansions show that the company is committed to its Israeli market.

Slowly rebuilding

United’s vice president of international network and alliances, Patrick Quayle, highlights that his firm is the only carrier that has been able to maintain continuous daily service from the US to Australia and Israel throughout the year. Moreover, he shared that as the business continues to rebuild its international network, it looks forward to offering customers more opportunities to travel to Hong Kong, Sydney, and Tel Aviv.

Ultimately, United will be glad to be offering better convectively to Israel and other countries across the globe this summer. The global health crisis has rocked its plans this year and has caused concerns throughout the company. However, business is slowly picking up, and it will be keeping a close eye on the international climate over the next few months as the situation continually changes.
